Heart, Mind, Body
Do you ever wonder,
When you are making a decision or a choice, which is the opinion of your heart or mind? i.e what is your heart saying and what is your mind trying to tell you.
(By saying this, I actually don't think I'm bothering about whether you have ever thought of this question I'm just going to go on about it anyway)
One question people.
What about the Body?
Our being is made up of 3 main components. Mind, Heart and BODY. why do we always neglect the obvious?
Let me give you an example:
In a club, you see a seemingly attractive guy/girl.
Your first thought : Woah. he/she's hot.
Second thought: "Is he/she really that hot? Maybe I'm drunk and seeing things, or its too dim and smoky to see clearly."
Third thought: "I want to move closer to him/her."
(keep in mind that this is a purely fictitious as the good girl I am has not seen the insides of a club yet)
When it is listed out like this it is easy to categorize those thought accordingly. 1 - Heart, 2- Mind, 3- BODY. For the more irrational (either naturally or due to the influence of alcohal) people, the "third" thought will come before the "second". Or maybe, the "second" thought won't even enter their fuzzy minds! These are who we call Physical Creatures, most commonly associated (correctly or incorrectly) to Male homo sapiens. However, research have shown that the Female counterparts are also susceptible to becoming Physical Creatures as well- especially middle-aged women undergoing menopause (cue:HEAT FLASH).
So. Which of those three voices should we listen to? Follow the heart- Believe that he/she is hot, without any concrete proof? Follow your mind - Look carefully and make sure he/she is really hot? Or Follow the body- I want to touch him/her, it doesn't matter if he/she is hot or not?
Basically from this we can see that, the Heart rules over everything. This is because the Heart's reasoning has no reason at all and it is based on Instinct and Feeling. therefore, it is your first reaction. However, the Body is an instinctive entity as well, because chemical inductions in the Body motivates it to react uncontrollably to situations. But I believe, that as chemical reactions is needed to move the Body and create a reaction, the Heart moves faster than the Body. The Mind is something that some people use too much while others don't use it enough. The Mind takes a longer time to activate as it is a summary of several senses, coming together to form a coherent thought. But as we have established that not everyone uses this, it does not affect some of us.
The real issue is: Which one will you follow?
Your answer will determine whether you are an Emotional person, belonging to the minority group of The Rational, or (as I suspect most of you are deep down inside) a Physical Creature.
That's all Folks!
P.S For the record, I would like to emphasize that there is nothing wrong being a Physical Creature. It makes the world go round and keeps it populated.
A Big THUMBS UP to all you Physical critters!
Side Note:
I would like to express my gratitude to my dear friend, Miss Jiefang, who was kind enough to mention my blog on hers. So, I'm gonna return the favour

welcome?
You still turn me on
It's anal.logue.
For those of you who get the not-so-subtle-yet-may-be-hard-to-catch hint. Good for you!
Today, we'll discuss common phrases found in today's popular music lyrics
Turn me on
What does that mean actually? Turn what on actually?
Is it a magical button found somewhere on our body that only a chosen few gets to press? Ah that sounded rather kinky.
It is known that the phrase "turn me on" means, being able to awaken one's sexual desire, basically - evoking lusty feelings.
However, why on? who came up with that phrase? and how the hell do we "subconciously" know the meaning? It is rather amazing don't you think?
With that being said, I do hope that not everyone is in the "on" mode every minute. That would be quite freaky.
So do spare a thought for others and turn yourself "off" every now and then.
You take me higher
This is yet another of those misleading phrases. Take me higher as in going up the stairs to another level?
Imagine this, you and your friend (doesn't have to be your boyfriend/girlfriend, maybe just normal friend) the two of you decided to go take the Singapore Flyer. Then when you reach the peak of the ride, you turn to her and say
"You take me higher than no on else has ever taken me before"
Hmmm. That sounds rather wrong doesn't it?
The real meaning of "taking me higher", as once again everyone subconciously knows, is - orgasm-ing. That is, the ahem "bigger" your orgasm, it means, the "higher" you've been taken. now did that sound difficult to comprehend? you may be wondering, why does having a bigger orgasm translates out to being taken higher? To an innocent and pure person like me, the only answer I can give you is that MAYBE as more liquid/fluid goes out of one's body one will experience dehydration and reach a near fainting stage where one sees stars.
That's why the phrase "take me higher" is coined, because at that stage, the person is disillusioned into thinking that he/she has reached the stars.
That's about all folks'.
Stay tuned.
